Project BRAVO – Old County Dr.

As of Wednesday, March 25, 2020, all Project BRAVO Community Centers are closed and staff is working from home to minimize the potential spread of COVID-19. Business hours have changed and we are now open 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM in order to better mobilize our resources.

As a reminder, Project BRAVO can assist with the following critical needs:

• Utility Assistance (electric, gas, and propane) for six to nine months

• Foreclosure prevention counseling

• Assistance to access to free or low cost medication, eye exams, and eyeglasses

• Other services such as GED instruction and homebuyer counseling are being provided over the phone and online

Please note the changes to our application process:

• Applying for Services: Applications for services are available on our website at www.projectbravo.org, by mail delivery or email when requested, and at all Community Centers in designated boxes that are placed outside each center. Each program has eligibility criteria based on income and other factors.
• Submitting an Application: Community Centers will have secured drop boxes for clients to deliver their applications and copies of documents. The applications for services have a complete list of our centers and their contact information. Applicants are encouraged to mail applications and copies of required documents to their center or email the application and copies of documents to [email protected]. 
• Phone Support: Clients may call their respective centers or our main number for assistance between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. A voice message will provide detailed instructions in the event that there are no available representatives or the client calls after hours. Clients should leave their phone number and the number of a close relative to ensure we can get in touch with them. We ask clients to disable blocking services for calls from unknown numbers.
